dont read to deeply into the Pusha thing lads

clash culture is different

its all what goes down on the night then its forgotten

you as a soundsytem get another well known artist to record a dub for you going at your opponent (usually a remix of a well know tune etc)

its to dead them there and then on your behalf, aint really got shyt to do with disses and such so dont go running to rapgenius just yet

Rodigan told them man you dont know what your doing here

"i've never seen no one bring gogo dancers on stage to force a fwd"

then Rocky was just plain rude

Ram Jam told em you need to come out of Harlem and go link the yardies in Flat Bush

A$AP got seckled, shyt was tragic

The sound clash goes back to the history of Reggae and Dancehall (a tradtion that has been going on in Jamaica and the UK, since Jamaica is a British colony, for years).

The idea behind it is tat two deejays or "selectors" would play different sets and "battle" each other...whoever would have the better sounds/music and get the crowd going more in their favor with more applause would technically win by the MC or the "toaster" of the clash.

The whole idea behind MC battles actually came from the soundclash loosely as well...as they would have dancehall MCs battle using the same concept.

Since Kool Herc (the innovator and creator of hip-hop) was from Jamaica, the earliest forms of hip-hop took many elements from Jamaican Dancehall (graffiti battles, b-boy/breakdancing battles, etc)...

Ninja man was on the freshest of Cocaines when he got that jacket and hair :lolbron:
