How does their sick leave work? Because I thought you couldn’t deny sick leave. I’ve literally never asked to take a sick leave I just call off and say I’m sick and they take me off the schedule for like a week.

They have a system called "unpaid personal time" and the give employees 80 hours of it a year, 20 hours every three months. They dont have sick leave and they dont accept doctors notes, you're supposed to use your upt to cover any sick leave.

You can use those hours anytime you want for any reason but if you run out they'll fire you. I remember alot of people would get fired for using their hours to leave early or go in late and end up not having enough hours when they needed them.
