Two belts or one?

The problem I see is that the Smackdown version of the title will be considered and seen as the lesser title. They might have someone like Cena hold it a couple of times to make it seem important but as soon as he's drafted back to Raw or whatever the title is going to be seen as a glorified intercontinental champion like it was before. The world heavyweight championship title match was the opening match of the last Wrestlemania of the original brand split for goodness sake

Real talk,....shane and Daniel should have gotten raw.
If they were gonna give us this smark style split bullshyt.
Instead, we get clique rules wcw poke of doom booking once again on raw like before, so nuffin changed, again.

Got to go with two belts. Every other belt on the belt roster can go back and forth but they believe that no one will show up to an event where there isn't a World Champ.

once again, there will always be an inferior champion by default and that defeats the whole purpose of being champion. what kind of "champion" can't even main event at any of the big 5 ppvs.

i say if you're going to split the rosters and you're going to have 2 champions, then they each need their separate set of ppvs. they shouldn't be sharing and co-headlining events. i know it would be sacrilege in the eyes of vince but maybe they could resurrect some of the older WCW ones to help add to their prestige.

let one brand have mania and summerslam and all the traditional WWE events, let the other brand have starrcade, fall brawl, great american bash, superbrawl, etc.

MAYBE they can share the rumble.

Starting in September, they're going to start doing it like they did in the mid 2000s. RAW and SmackDown both get monthly pay per views and share the big four events.

Whatever second belt that's created is automatically beneath the belt that has the history of the Rock, Austin, Bruno, Hogan, Bryan, Eddie, Macho, and Warrior holding it. Period. Simple as that.
