I am comfortable and I love you
Mentions of an "MPC XL" was found by someone on MPC Forums in a new update. This is how they found out about the MPC keys over a year before that model came out, it had a drawing inside operating system.

That said, I'm good with my MPC X for now. shyt is so beastly

The last pieces of gear I'm going to purchase for a while will include an MPC One.
I'm just shocked how many people are going hard for SP-404's.

Like right now it is THE beat machine. :pachaha:

SP 404 has great fx built in, I gotta give it that. Akai has the flavor plug in, but they make you pay to get the REALLY good flavor pro plug in. The mp and SP make a great combo

Mpc one is the best beat machine I have ever owned
Im' debating between an MPC One or a Used MPC Live.
I want that extra 16gb's tbh and I feel it'll help with my "live show" when I eventually start performing.

Have you had a chance to use a Live?

If anyone can't make heat with the MPC X or basically any of the new MPCs, then they need to find something else to do because music production isn't for them.

I feel like a lot of the 404 hype comes from Madlib and Dilla having used it. I don't find it intuitive at all lol

Man everyone seems to use it.
The experiment Jazz cats all had SP-404s when I went to their sets (this was hella recent).
All the beatmakers on Twitter/Instagram seem to have an SP404 as well.
And they use Ableton as well as an MPC Live.

I knew I was out of touch with beatmaking and beat culture when I came back and
damn near everyone had an SP-404 or some other SP like the 303 or 505.

Yh the Sp404 culture blew up due to all the Lofi cats trynna emulate dilla /doom

As nice as the new Sp404 is... Its just a headache to sequence tracks with... Mpc is lightyears ahead on arranging and organising tracks.. Most people just end up using it as an overpriced effect box.

The mpc can do literally everything better than the Sp404 and you can actually sequence effects rather than resampling them over and over until u get it right.

I can’t believe I haven’t owned a mpc yet. I started making beats at 13 so my unc got the MPD26 for me :snoop: I was grateful but then my cousin gave me his mpk49 with the keys it’s was lit from there. But I still need to buy a mpc for sure.

I copped an MPC for Hip-Hop, like just on some "Yo, I can say I've had an MP now".
I plan on using it in my sets for sample playback but I mainly work on my laptop.
