1. refering to albums a "classics" too soon.

Instead of calling an album a classic, just do HOF inductions. Enjoy the ablum for what it is and keep it moving. Then after 5 or 6 years revisit it's status and if deemed worthy simply put it in the HOF which would then make it a classic. In other words, establish some type of rules.

2. know that rap music is disposable and the climate and sound changes from one year to the next so if a rapper makes significant contributes or has a run where they were relevant for a 10 year period then I say they should be acknowledged as a major contributor and should get props. Anything beyond 10 years is considered a bonus.

Number 2 is pretty much on point. When it comes to "classic," it's all a matter of opinion.

true but you can still have some type of criteria for that. if a record still sounds dope over time. If the sound transends the period then its a classic.

Salt N Peppa "Push It" for example is a classic song. You can play this in the clubs today or on the radio and it still goes hard.

Black music in general fell off, and changes in society indicate to me that its not getting back up.

For example music from 30-40 years ago still bangs today. But a lot of music from 3-4 years ago makes the avg listener physically ill. shyt has no kind of replay value. I don't think we've had a real true to life classic hip hop album in years. Like maybe since the G-Unit era.

Prove me wrong fakkit

What modern artist/groups are fukking with acts like

- 1980s MJ
- Earth Wind and Fire
- Pretty much any R&B group/singer of the early 80s (Atlantic Starr, Prince, Patrice Rushen etc.)
- Isley Bros

Etc

Nobody is going to be playing whats "hot" today in 10 years let alone 40. Not even your fakkit ass, you will be stanning for whatever is new and acting like the shyt you are stanning for now didn't even exist
