Yep, it sounds like they are trying to cover it up by saying they were just playing and it was a freak accident. They got physical evidence and digital (which no telling what that is), so they going to get punished like they should.

Then these two were actually idiots who didn't need kids. I don't think I've ever put a bruise on my kids in my life yet this guy already knew he was playing to rough and continued to do it.
