Athletes are public figures and celebrities. They get paid to wear shyt ALL THE TIME both in and out of work. There is a reason that when Nike gives a nikka a contract to wear shoes, they FORBID them to wear any other brands BOTH AT AND AWAY FROM WORK. Athletes are ALWAYS being watched. Its important they represent themselves appropriately all the time, because people are always watching them. Stop playing stupid because you want to defend the ignorant behavior of your favorite athlete.

Find one post indicating my favorite athlete is Ty Lawson.

Before you jump to any further conclusions, maybe you should think for yourself and not be concerned about watching someone outside of their job. You and the rest of the general public are the problem - not the athletes.

Or perhaps you just cant understand logic? Either way, continue to do whatever you like regardless of public perception or consequences. Hopefully you'll be able to succeed in life with that mindset, but my guess is that you likely wont.

Thanks for eloquently refuting my point. I know nikkas are allergic to reading, so I'll try to incorporate more gifs and smileys into my future posts. Here's one:

It would be more of an issue if the ABA existed and he was playing in the NBA while rocking a competeing leagues' team logo.
It's still all the NBA...sport caps are more fashionable than showing team loyalty
Complete non-issue

there's a few "fans" in Denver that are inherently biased towards the Broncos and will use anything to justify their indifference towards the Nuggets and the NBA.

I don't see any of my brehs @ NuggetsTalk up in arms about this non-issue.

Where is the logo loyalty when the owners collaborate to shut out the players?
NBA teams rivalry is a product to make money off of, with the overall brand being the NBA logo.
If the ABA existed, a NBA team lockout meant that the players could choose to play for another competing league. Taking money from the NBA
A NBA player wearing another NBA team apparel during their personal time, does not take money away from the NBA. Only the overly emotional fans who think they are actual employees of the franchise will make this an issue

Ask Coca Cola how they feel about one of their employees or people they sponsor drinking or talking about Pepsi. :mjpls:

@Hiphoplives4eva has valid points. These dudes ain't in fukking highschool trying to impress their friends and females. They're working in a multi billion dollar industry.

so if Lawson was rocking a BC Barcelona jersey to match his gear, you'd be mad?

It's not a big issue. But what your saying makes no sense. What your saying would be different is actually the same damn thing.
