To the coli A&Rs, why do y'all think she fizzled so fast? Lack of hits? Personally I think her personality/image was kind of wooden
She never found her footing. I think she woulda blew in the early 2010s.
She don't even have a look to make her stand out. Everything she's doing is safe
and it makes me think she doesn't have an identity other than wanting to be a
singer. She got a pretty face and a tight waist, but all her music stale as far as
pop is concerned. All of her music is stale for R&B, and she not bringing nothing
new to the table. She comes off as a budget version of a previous era of music
not any one artist. I think her team doesn't know how to package her, and I think
she doesn't know how to direct herself. She just along for the ride. If she dropped
a fun dance record for the clubs, I think she would be cool. Then again, she tryna
blow at a time when the music industry is lookin' like a bad investment for artists.

We can’t judge music the same way anymore. The attention is split. Updates come and go and people forget or there’s not enough time to process new music, new videos, new news. Streaming doesn’t pay and the reality is people only ever really listened to singles. I think the issue lies with the original assumption. That if people bought albums they listened to the whole thing. I think what stayed true was people would listen to the album and just go back to their favorite songs. The same way people only listen to what they are told to listen to. Same as radio. Same as these playlists. The media dollars are drying up so it’s concentrated to a few artists and that pool will get smaller.

I told y'all. .I'm not gassing no fukking colored chick to be the queen of no African music scene. Her song was basically rnb to begin with. It wasn't afrobeats or anything else. Now we can let talent shine over looks. Get this broad out the fukking way.
