Travis Scott has lifted pretty much his entire style. He’s clearly influenced by Kanye production wise. ‘Astroworld’ alone fits that mold, lavishly produced “stadium music”
beyond producing...
...im talking about how Kanye goes his own way when it comes to music....
...or making videos.

Tyler is one of the few doing that imo

Both Kanye and Cudi deserve a handwritten thank you letter in the mail every Christmas from that nikka Travis Scott.

Listening to this right now for the first time, about a 1/3 of the way through it. Reminds me heavily of Fiend's International Jones mixtapes.

does Travis really produce like that? Or does he simply sit with a production team and throw things at the wall like.. ‘make that shyt darker’ ‘I want ambiance here’ ‘a lil more autotune’

This is basically the best description lol. I have my doubts about him actually putting his hands on any production equipment.

Vibes feel more NERD/Neptune’s than Kanye to me. This album is great but as an emcee he ain’t see Coles recent work.
Tyler never been about technical side of craft to be fair. I’m sure he would’ve been singing from the beginning if he could and liked his singing voice.

Everything Tyler does will always have a noticeable Skateboard P influence. I can see what nikkas mean when it comes to Kanye tho. P has always had a simplicity to his projects presentation and Kanye has always made them feel more conceptual, which is what Tyler albums have always been.
