You talking to a person that is a HUGE Teedra Mosses fan, it took her 11 years for her to drop her second album. I would much rather wait years for an artist to release a very well thoughtful fleshed out cohesive album, as opposed to an artist rush out a a album they came up with over a weekend when they got high on shrooms.

I dont take people seriously unless they show the ACTUAL house they grew up in and their families. People take affiliations too seriously. I get that this works on most people who didn’t grow up in resources starved environments so they get to use that as short hand to validate how they view certain artists.

Drake moved into the weakest part of a nice neighborhood after getting on TV (after growing up in public housing) and people said he grew up privileged. It’s all perspective.

Donald Glover was out here telling folks he grew up rough but the guy was just in standard fare parts of Stone Mountain.

Look at how J Cole tried to make Fayetteville, NC out to be some war zone. Complete clown shyt.
