I think he is just as talented as them. If you hear them talk about music or see them making music; you can see they got a passion that goes further than just making beats but are into crafting songs. Main difference is that Tyler really doesn't make beats for other people so I can that making people think he isn't as talented as the other two.i had no idea there was a tyler and kanye/pharrell comparison...that is nuts...tyler is talented but he is nowhere near kanye or pharrell. there's level to this and tyler is way below those two and it's not a bad thing. kanye and pharrell are just that good so the narrative of tyler being the next kanye or pharrell is goofy and sounds like some media manipulation BS.
if tyler wasn't from LA he wouldn't be half as popular as he is now.

I’m not saying either of yall wrong but I’ve heard people on other forums say that Tyler has surpassed ye especially with his recent music he’s been making compared to Tyler. I think ye’s highs is unmatched but I can see why people like Tyler because I can be subjective while being biased![]()
not even close...kanye has albums that shaped eras and future artists...and 20+ years later those albums are still relevant because they are usually the measuring stick for album runs in hip-hop.
pharrell has 20+ years of classic records and they all get a lot of love when they're played. you put on goblin, flower boy or most of his singles and i doubt hip-hop historians are gonna say this is a classic or he was the sound of an era...i doubt people will even mention tyler's albums when discussing his era. the only two songs i can think of that people will point to for tyler is earfquake and wusyaname.
and like i said earlier, there's nothing wrong not being on kanye or pharrell's level. tyler can be popular and talented but he's not close to their talent imo, respectfully. tyler is closer to an artist like busta rhymes rather than kanye or pharrell as far as impact and talent imo. they have there moments here and there, longevity, respect of their peers but people don't look back at busta like that.
Maybe but when it comes to overall musicians I believe he will.![]()

He’s got a strong cult fanbase that plays his stuff but outside of that his music is not recognizable. Put it like this he’s technically been out as long as and put out as much or even more music as Drake, Kendrick, Cole and he nobody would ever dare consider have him do a Super Bowl.Dude has multiple platinum singles and he has no hit records
You nikkas are fukking retarded man
I don't know when the comparisons started but he's been getting lumped in with Pharrell and Ye since he started...he's always made it a point to let others know they're his biggest influencesi had no idea there was a tyler and kanye/pharrell comparison...that is nuts...tyler is talented but he is nowhere near kanye or pharrell. there's level to this and tyler is way below those two and it's not a bad thing. kanye and pharrell are just that good so the narrative of tyler being the next kanye or pharrell is goofy and sounds like some media manipulation BS.

Tyler has always been an average rapper at best. His weirdo antics and general fakkitry definitely don't help
He killed his feature on the new Clipse album, probably the best verse I've heard from him. But most people are saying that's not how he normally sounds, so probably why![]()
Bruno Mars is actually tolerable and appeals to commercial audiences. It's Bruno Mars syndrome, like I get what you doing but I rather listen to your influences lol
