doubt khaled even really gave af. it's his rap persona to be extra. he had to scream about something :mjlol:
Part of me feels this way too. When Khaled said what he said, I didn’t think he was being serious. It felt like something that was tongue in cheek and part of his shtick. Like he was lowkey trolling Tyler in a way. In a weird way, it feels like Tyler is taking this to heart more than Khaled.

Kanye was in his 40s talking about slavery being a choice and a lot of you nikkas are awaiting his album

Um ok. Who is “you nikkas”?
Why don’t you go be mad at them, because I forgot Kanye even existed

also I already said I’m a of/Tyler fan. You don’t know how separating art from the artist works by now as a grown man?

Not gonna lie, I didn't realize that was a thing until I started interacting with black folks who grew up in mostly white/mexican areas and there is a definite difference in mindset. People think it's just a different neighborhood or school district but your kid has to deal with being one of the only blacks at a school when most media put out portrays us in a negative light. That includes teachers and parents who are actual racists and will try to fukk over your kid and know they can because of the dynamics. So the kid either ends up rejecting everything black or leaning heavy into all the negative shyt. Not to say that the mindset is permanent though. People get older and the veil is lifted one way or the other. It sounds like Tyler has had a chance to live life and realizes a lot of the bullshyt out here.

All of this pretty much. Especially the part about white peers and teachers already having preconceived notions and stereotypes about black people, but having very limited interaction with black people. I went to a heavily white school, but every single summer growing up I'd go back to the islands and spend it entirely with black people, as well as mum always reminding me "you not like them white kids :ufdup:Don't bring they shyt into my home" I had good rearing. But even still, growing up it was hella awkward.

Media portrayals of black people don't help at all. And hip hop as well to a degree. They literally believe that most black people come from impoverished backgrounds and rap music videos is the culture. It's challenging for them to comprehend black people that are literally just regular, everyday non-criminally inclined.

"You don't act black" is a common phrase because you don't exhibit certain stereotypes and don't speak in ebonics/slang. They assume you have family members in prison, on drugs, or in a gang.

Why I keep my ass in the islands. I've had enough of 'them' for one lifetime. But then the flip side of Caribbean living is because of their lack of exposure, there are some c00nish elements that can definitely surprise you. But I chop that up to just whiteness being a novelty for them. They only experience white people in an environment where black people are the majority, so of course they'd only have interactions with them where cacs are on their best behavior unless they're in areas that are catered to them (i.e tourist areas, but any islander knows that tourist areas are the most likely places where a black person in their own country would experience discrimination)

That's why I think it's a huge mistake for higher/middle economic-class black people sending their kids to all white schools thinking they'll get a 'better' education. Better education to who? They're essentially sending their seed to the equivalent to indoctrination camps.

Tyler suffers from the same shyt Doja cat does.

Both black California natives that grew up around whites
I think Tyler grew up in a middle class black neighborhood in LA. Like View Park or Windsor hills. His upbringing was more along the lines of the main guy from The Wood, or Issa Raes character in Insecure, or the title character from the movie Dope. The odd future collective all come from middle class black LA. There’s hella black kids in these predominantly black middle class neighborhoods that grow up “alternative” black kids. Again, I think....

i seriously doubt tyler really gives af about it either. they put him in a long ass interview he had to babble on about something. plus like i mentioned earlier, he said the same thing khaled allegedly said (i dont really remember khaled saying tyler wasnt black enough but ill just take tylers feelings about it and run with it since people in the thread are) when he won the grammy .....it's all entertainment and the fake outrage is just bored people :yeshrug:

Following a gracious acceptance speech, Tyler spoke frankly backstage when asked about the voting process for the awards. He admitted that while he was "very grateful" for his win, the categorizing of his music as rap is a "backhanded compliment."
"It sucks that whenever we — and I mean guys that look like me — do anything that's genre-bending or that's anything they always put it in a rap or urban category. I don't like that 'urban' word — it's just a politically correct way to say the n-word to me,"

doja a biracial c00n, raised in a white household and has animosity towards black men bc she didn't like her father. Tyler is a black kid who just likes things outside of the black stereotype.

Watch: Tyler The Creator Says He’s Only Into White Men

:dame:

He has countless lyrics from b*stard that refer to his white dating preference

Just off the top of my head

"Got all the black bytches mad cause my main bytch vanilla" French

"I'm tall, skinny, ears are big as fukk. Drunk white girls the only way I get my dicc sucked" b*stard

"White girl, you can ask her what the dikk be like" AssMilk

"White bytches, white girls, white drugs
Black girls don't do it but my type does"

nikka ate a cockroach... :stopitslime:
He didn't actually eat the roach

Watch the video again closely. He takes his hands out of the shot then slight of hand "eats" something. Then the camera pans out and makes Tyler pitch black as he "vomits". Pay close enough attention and you'll notice the vomit is obviously special effects

Also if you've ever stepped on a big ass roach you know he would have puss all over his mouth and hand if he really bit into that muthafukka:russ:

Tyler c00n resume is deep you don't have to die on the roach hill

:hubie:

Bruh... I don't know enough about this weirdo other than watching him do that shyt.

When I seen that I just remember thinking "So he's one of those nikkas :stopitslime: "

I would never know if he's a great artist or if he's wack. Ain't been interested in anything of his since.

I don't know why nikkas arguing like two things can't be true. I know its in the Coli's blood to scream at each other but:mjlol:

Yes Khaled showed his true colors when he was salty over losing that #1 to Tyler and who the fukk is he to determine what's the most authentically black music???? The truth ALWAYS comes out of these non black hip-hop nikkas when they get mad

And yes Tyler has c00ned his ass off for most of his career. Olympic gold medal legendary c00ning
