This dude made a racist commercial with a bunch of black dudes in a police lineup...then when it gets pulled off the air he says he's 'saddened as a young black man that an older black man would do that.' A million times disagree with that, I like some of his music but if we're being honest Tyler has been on some c00n shyt since the beginning.

For him to claim he felt let down as a black man by Boyce Watking (rightfully) calling out that racist commercial greenlighted by Mountain Dew, feels very disingenuous coming from him. Let's not forget this is the same dude who tried to put this shirt out:

Knowing that they were odd future members, you could make the argument that it was more a comment on the police but knowing his feelings on race politics, that could be a reach.

His feelings on matters such as this seemed to always show his age to me. I like his interviews when he trolls people though.

Mountain Dew pretty much gave him money to make a commercial, he got his boys paid by putting them in a commercial then he got bashed for having black people in the lineup.

Will watch. Album was half baked, not cohesive. It had potential. He has gotten a lot better, tho. Not his statements but i do respect this dude's creativity and attitude.
