I agree. This isn't an impressive year for PG's. Dunn let me down big time. One of the least impressive PG classes I've seen since awhile. Probably as bad as last year.

Yea Dunn is good, but I think people are beginning to overrate him.

But you can tell this year's PG class is weak,Cat Barber is leading the ACC in scoring and is a helluva player and he is being protected as barely getting drafted. In any other draft if a guy is leading the ACC in scoring 9/10 he's a lock for 1st round

How many times have you seen Isaiah Whitehead? He and Seton Hall just ran through the Big East tournament all the way to the championship.

Tyler will be decent as a backup for a decade and may get a chance to start here or there for a team. With his height though I don't think he will ever be an everyday starter but he will always have a role in the NBA though too.

his height isn't as much of the issue, it's a lack of athleticism/strength/explosiveness that will hinder him. He's clearly a good leader and has intagibles, etc. Maybe a slightly better version of dj augustin, but nothing more. I give him credit for coming in as cal's second choice PG (cal clearly wanted/expected mudiay) and making the most of it.

If Jamal Murray plays pg in the NBA :banderas:

absolutely not...I don't know why people keep this narrative of murray as a PG. Dude is terrible as a PG or even a combo, he is purely a SG and is mostly dangerous is spot up situations. Slow feet and average athleticism/length, but nice midrange game. If anyone drafts him expecting him to run point, the're are in for a big disappointment (this means you timberwolves)

It's crazy cause I thought briscoe would be the pg starting over Ulis coming in but he's been trash.

Like what position is he anyways? What's his NBA stock looking like? :francis:

briscoe isn't a PG, he's definitely more combo than murray though. He's gotten in better shape (he may actually have gotten too stout), and physically his profile is similar to deron williams. That's where the comparison ends though. Dude has good handles/elusiveness, but absolutely no jumper. All you have to do is treat him like the guard version of ben simmons by backing off and daring him to shoot. He doesn't have the court vision of say a rubio, so his lack of shooting is even more glaring. In highschool, and moreso in the EYBL, he was more of a scoring guard which worls against the frail guards you meet n highschool. Now despite his strength, he also has well below average athleticism. Combine that with his horrid shooting, and it's hard to project him positionally being succesful in the NBA. He'd have to play at PG d/t his size and lack of shooting, but it's not like he's a great PG in terms of distribution nor has he had the opportunity with ulis and murray in front of him. He's kind of stuck between positions unless his jumper gets any better. 2nd round pick if he comes out this year. Problem for him staying is that better guards are coming in in fox and monk, so it's hard to say he'll get any more chance to shine at PG next year. Quite honestly, UK was the wrong choice of school for him. Unless he comes out this year, his college career arc is going to be the guard version of the crap that poythress has become.
