Interviewer: So what you think is the thing that's holdin east coast hiphop back?

Rapper: Yo, radio ain't playin our shyt nahmean? All you hear is southern records. In OUR clubs! I'm not hatin but it's ridiculous.

Interviewer: What's the solution?

Rapper: Well, I took up the challenge nahmean. Like if this album doesn't put NY back on top then I don't know man. I got Preemo on there. I got a joint with Mary J Blige on there that's crazy. I got a beat on there that Eminem did. Just nuts man. I got a verse from my man Lord Jamar on one track. Bustas on there also, I don't even know how but he on there. It's crazy. So yeah. NY back after this.

Yeah I can't lie..."Friend Request" had me busting my chest open. All I can picture is Nelly Harmonizing that shyt, I was literally in tears just reading the song title. @Taadow kilt me with that shyt.

Old Ass Rapper: A lot of these young cats in the game these days I feel don't aren't really makin real hip hop music nahmean. They're industry puppets. The shyt ain't real. When we was around it was REAL hip hop you know what I'm sayin? A lot of these new rappers woulda never got put on back when it was still pure. These young kids just don't know.

Waka Flaka be gettin my hyped when I'm at the club. 2 Chainz. Mac Miller. Tyga. Wale definitely a smooth brutha. I really dig Yo Gotti. Big KRIT I see you. Future out there killin it. Big Sean got a few songs I like. Hopsin, that kid could spit for real. Tyler the Creator still bringin that rawness. B.O.B. be havin some joints on the radio that I sing along to wit my daughter. Slaughterhouse just on lyrics alone. Vado. Fabolous still rockin it good lookin Fab. Loved that mixtape. What it do Jeezy. I see you nikka. Gangsta Gibbs. Flo Rida. Macklemore. A few others maybe but that about it. Honestly I'm not really into a lot of these new rappers.
