NO
This won't hurt the Cards as much as you all think

the Cards are so deep in their secondary that they have to play Bucannon as a LB just to get their best players all on the field.

Bucannon goes back to the secondary and one of their 4 other pass coverage-capable LBs will slide right into the hole.
What lb's?? :heh:

Literally couldn't happen at a worse time, he'll miss most of next season most likely too.

umm it takes 6- 9 months to fully heal on top of him getting the best care for it. He probably wont even miss preseason let alone the opening game

I was thinking it was like a 10-12 month recovery time, I think I was just thinking about how DRose handled his situation.

EDIT: For the record there are sites that say 6-12 month recovery time.

Why Are Professional Athletes Able to Return from ACL Surgery Sooner Than Me?

From the above link...

"Depending on the extent of injury to these athletes, most players can expect 6-12 months before being cleared by a physician to return to their previous level of play."

and

"Of the 795 that did return, most players returned to action 9 to 12 months after an ACL injury."

If it plays out that way he could miss a nice chunk of next season.

And multiple sites say 9-12 months, the one site I found that said 6-9 months still posted at the end that 8+ months after surgery they may return to activities but very slowly to ease back in, so it's more likely that he misses 9-12 months than 6-9, and on top of that no reason to be patronizing with the "ummm" speak like a man, if you had some knowledge to drop, drop it in a constructive manner, not in a way that you come off like a jerkoff, especially when what you said isn't an undisputed fact.

Big loss for them but here's to hoping they can overcome and still go far in the playoffs anyway. They are a good enough team where his lost wont hurt them as much as Carson's did last season.
