Injuries + No motivation to improve his game.

Yeah, these things. I don't know if dudes realize how many of these cats are just hooping for a paycheque, fame, partying, etc. The NBA is just a job to a lot of these dudes, especially when the level of competition is at an even playing field for these guys. A lot of these guys are indeed talented and can continue to compete at a high level but to get to the NEXT level it takes a certain level of drive and commitment to become a better basketball player everyday that a lot of these dudes just lack. This is clear in the development of a number of players in the league that have the potential to be elite level players.

I'll also add in the fact that the coach took him off ball and that dumb ass nikka Smart made him a 3:stopitslime: taking away his crazy advantage and making him pretty much useless with a 3ball.

He's best doing his own thing with the ball in his hand, unfortunately that means he gonna just be a 6th or 7th man. I'm happy as shyt Lance added a 3 ball because his game looks just like Rekes to me.

That's why I still get shytty thinking what the Kings could of been. All you had to do was put a shooter at the 2 and 3 and a defensive big next to Cuz and the team would have been set. Instead of picking Leonard, they picked Fredette and instead of picking Drummond, they picked Robinson and trades him halfway through the season. Hell he could have picked Lillard, moved Reke to the 2 and you still would have been set up for a bright future.

I swear I've never seen a ROY player get his position changed after an injury so much. If Smart didn't have Thomas' dikk in his mouth so much, maybe they would have been better. Smart fell head over fukking heels for Thomas and did everything he could to nurture him over Cousins and Evans.

Evans may not be the star that he was suppose to be after his Rookie year, but I still think if you put him at the Point, he can give you 17/7/6 with a steal per game.

Exactly.

I haven't been following the Pelicans much this year but what are his numbers? I know he messed his knee up in preseason has he recovered from that yet? Those 3pt numbers are atrocious but I find it hard to believe he's not a serviceable NBA player anymore.

He's putting up like 12/5/5 in like 24 minutes, Monty Williams is pretty much Keith Smart, with his love affair with Brian Roberts.

I can't believe some team was dumb enough to give him 11 million dollars when he didn't improve his game since his first year.
He actually improved a lot last year, he may not have averaged as many points, cause with Cousins getting his touches and Thomas gunning a lot, Evans played 3rd banana, but he was more careful with his shot, he improved his jumpshot a decent amount to a respectable percent, shot a career high from the field, actually had a 3 point shot, shooting like 33-35 percent, which is fukking great for him, and was averaging 5.5 boards and assists in less than 30 minutes a game

ima pelicans season ticket holder (save the jokes :skip:)...and this nikka and e gordon are horrible...plain horrible...pelicans shouldve let gordon go years ago and never signed evans...:leostare:
What's up with all yall offensive sets with Evans or Gordon just standing in the corner for 3, especially Evans, you would think Monty would have 2 shooters spot up there?

:yeshrug:..breh your guess is as good as mine...

problem is they dont have that many consistent shooters...gordon is aight...aminu :stopitslime:....rivers :usure:....morrow is passable, but he streaky as hell....holiday and anderson are hurt...they are probably the best on the team....

my observation is that they dont run enough sets thru davis...:patrice:

i dont know if monty is the coach next year breh...:patrice:

the white boy babbit plays with a lot of heart i like him...i watched melo give that work to aminu a couple weeks ago :snoop:...babbit came in and played decent D on melo...it didnt stop him...but it made it a little harder...

this team has a decent future with the right pieces and coaching

I swear Aminu look like he don't even wanna be there half the time. I'm legit :dahell: that he still starts for yall, Babbit looks like he'd be a decent off the bench 3.
