They tried to spinoff with Tokyo Drift to screw over the main cast, they tried to integrate it in the end with the poor testing with Vin Diesel.
All that said The Rock really needs to fall back with the group this is the only Hollywood franchise that has a diverse cast, that prints money, Rock bout to blow it up for his own personal ego.
If that Shaw Bros /Rock shyt takes off everyone except Diesel in the OG series will become expendable and the Rock will be used to whitewash the whole series.

Let's keep it 1000...his filmography is largely trash. People love to bring up his success but can't even lie about which movie they actually enjoyed.

Gridiron Gang was his best movie...that's it.

fast and furious is not a billion dollar global phenomenon without the rock

The series didn't break billion dollar globally until Furious 7 and that was mainly due to Walker's death if you want to be honest, The Rock was barely in the movie as well.
The Fate of the Furious was the bounce back but thye brought in more firepower in the star quotient with Theron, Statham, The Rock, and the twist of Diesel being the bad guy.
