I've already proved that for the most you aren't getting pass Gold with a pred "black" fanbase.
I don't feel like you did,unless I missed it

...all I saw was you showing where Keith Sweat and R Kelly were going 3 and 4 times platinum, and making the assumption that you cant sell that many records without whites

....basically saying white people bought 3.5 million copies of R Kelly and Keith Sweats albums
Its crazy to compare hiphop to rnb in the first place, the number of black rnb fans faaaar outweighs the number of hiphop fans because first of all how long its been around....Second thing is the fact rnb is not regional in any capacity...if your a rnb fan who was listening to the likes of Al Green and Marvin Gaye,if you hear about great new rnb phenoms who are the future greats like Keith Sweat and Kells

...its likely you cop the album
For hiphop I think you just underestimate the fact that very few artist manage to cross regional boundaries,as well as most fail to appeal to the very many different preferences of hiphop fans.
Off top artist that went gold and platinum that have black fanbases would be Plies and E-40....popular yet ignorant opinion is that they couldn't rap

....for both of these artist most of they fanbase would be centered in they region,Plies in the south,40 in the west and some fanbase in the south.....that's pretty much the whole east not buying the album, not to mention black fans who aint buying a album from someone they think sucks lyrically.
In hiphop these rappers just fail to have mass appeal and cross regional boundaries as well as have something that every rap fan can enjoy....and lets be honest, old hiphop fans and old rnb fans definitely aint fukking with this new shyt they call rnb and hiphop enough to buy it at large....they relying on one generation to cop this shyt and saying fukk the rest....in this era 500K-1 mil is still possible imo for a pred black fanbase if you know what you doing and have the talent to do it imo.
But especially in the old days no question, these cacs aint getting majority of the credit for the albums we came out strong to support and the artist we made famous

,time to kill that myth
