Here is what you all are missing. We are talking about marriages and righteous attachments here. Not these little flings and summer romances. We are talking about real LOVE in this thread. In my view its impossible to truly be in love with another person. Then just overnight feel nothing.


What it truly is was you didnt love that person like you THOUGHT you did. Or the other option is you actually checked out a long time ago. And option 3 as I said before,she is only pretending not to care.

Love is a nuanced thing,but most see it rather simplistically in black and white. Only thing im doing wrong in this thread is assuming others love as hard ,and the same as I love. But thats literally what we all do in a sense:respect:

No one said this. Only someone who is completely oblivious to their spouse would think that they stopped being in love overnight. You know when someone is pulling away, when interactions and affections feel different.

That said, even if a woman is acting emotionless after a relationship is over that's her prerogative to do so. She doesn't owe a prior partner, husband or not, some grand gesture of emotion.
