Well he's stellar on Low Post D and rebounding. And isn't a bad athlete who can keep up with most other bigs. I'd say he found his niche and ended up better then Curry. Which I didn't predict at the start.

This Has To Be A Joke

First Off We ALL Know He's Not An Offensive Player

He's Averaging A Double Double For The 1st Time In His Career

He's Had Four 20 Rebound Games This Month Alone

He's At The Top Of His Game Defensively

Having One Of His Best Shooting Seasons From The FT Line

Was The Anchor And One Of The Main Catalysts For A Championship Team

Hand Picked For The Olympic And All Star Team

2012 Defensive Player Of The Year

And He's Been Working On A Lil Jumper Too :skip:

How Can You Think This Is The Same Knucklehead That Played For The Bulls?

Hell He's A Better Player NOW Then He Was In New Orleans And Charlotte

You Need To Just Pick On Someone Else Breh

Tyson has absolutely no moves tho.. Thats the problem with Amare. Its not with Melo. Its Tyson. He has not developed one back to the basket move in all his years in the league.

That's disgusting :damn:

He's not an offensive player + I think his time with the Bulls ruined his development.

  1. The Bulls tried to make Curry the scorer without giving him much opportunities. He had no plays called for him and basically played clean up scoring off rebounds and loose balls and lobs.
  2. Same thing in Dallas.

I think coaching has failed him big time. Dude could have been a decent offensive player in the right system

He's A Defensive Big Who Rolls To The Basket :manny:

He's Great At Slamming Down And Tipping In Put Backs, He Can Knock Down A Mini Hook If Hes 2 Feet From The Hoop

He CAN Score, But He's Not A Scorer

Once They Stopped Trying To Turn Tyson Into David Robinson Thats When He Found Out What His Game REALLY Is, And He's Become A Better Player For Recognizing It

I mean if you expected him to be back to the basket person on offense in the first place then you'd be disappointed but that ain't the case. He's found a niche doing what he does but you're right though, his iso offense is trash

he has definitely improved

he is a great defensive player now and gets boards. what an awful thread.

He used to get tossed around like a hoe, even in New Orleans.

And basketball is not all about scoring. T/S probably the type that thinks Dennis Rodman was a horrible basketball player. I've seen that 6'9 freak change entire series (not games, whole playoff series) without scoring more than 5 points in any games of the series

And honestly, He's the only player on the Knicks that gives them a chance against us (Heat) and trust me we are NOT and will never be worried about his scoring.

He improved by knowing who he is and doing that at an all-star level..

Too many nikkas try to be something they aren't and end up looking a damn fool..

know your limits..

He plays to his strengths, which is a good thing. You don't see him whining and crying about getting the ball & trying to be the man when he has no business doing so...like a certain individual in LA. :mjpls:

Or maybe they were wise to have him focus on what has made him successful?

Tyson was awkward as hell on offense when he was in Chicago, he was never going to be a scorer.

This thread is shyt though, hes playing the best ball of his career and is actually living up to his contract.

Tyson is probably one of the most important cogs of this Knicks squad

His block on Kyrie last night in the end of the 4th quarter speaks for itself
