he was a injury prone brittle fakkit in new orleans and charlotte, then he got lucky and went to dallas and got credited with putting them over the hump even though he didnt even play 30 minutes a game, barely blocked any shots and was worthless on the offensive side of the ball. i get on him quickly when he's not a factor. on some days he looks like the DPOY Chandler and on many others he looks like the Bobcats Chandler.

Tyson isn't garbage. He's not going to get you buckets the way Marc Gasol, Andrew Bynum, and Brook Lopez can, but he can anchor a defense on the back end. He makes aggressive 1s and 2s think twice about entering the lane, and he's fairly good at getting rebounds and forcing players to change their shots due to his presence.

One bad game shouldn't cloud everybody's judgement here. Tyson Chandler is a tough, physical 5 in a league full of soft 5s these days, and he works best when paired with a Stretch 4 who can space the floor and shoot (Dirk Nowitzki or Ryan Anderson come to mind).
