Not surprised. TBH I feel like a lot of people Fury spars with probably put hands on him. Doesn't strike me as an "always on" type of dude. He sleepwalks through most of his fights.

Idc about sparring one guy could have specifically been working on something defensive that day so its easy to run the narrative that "xyz got the better of abc during sparring" shyt is just practice and doesnt matter.
True, sparring doesn't really matter, especially as it was a long time ago, just an interesting side note, won't have much significance when it comes down to it, except for possibly give AJ slightly more confidence.
How long ago did they spar? How many rounds did they spar? Were both giving maximum effort or was one preparing for a fight coming up? All of this has to be taken into account when it comes to something like this. Not saying that getting the best of someone in sparring doesn't mean something but won't say that it does either. Best way to settle it is to get in the ring and see who is the better man.
