I played ball with a chinese guy getting his graduate degree and this kid got great grades in China, came here at 22 and is about to graduate. He was humble and focused...

Salute to him and what he will do for his family.

Also, i beat him 2 games in a row. The kid was no jeremy lin but had a great jump shot

I don't give a fukk about some random Chinese guy you met. Your post literally has nothing to do with what I posted. :wtf:

Black people aren't leaving California because of Mexicans :what:
Black people were leaving California due to high-crime rates in Black areas, and rising rent and property values, plus burgeoning "Black friendly" cities, like Dallas and Austin, Texas, Washington DC and Atlanta, Georgia.

The immigration of East Asians isn't causing much of a negative effect, this is partly your anti-immigrant imagination.

It's a combination of Asians, Mexicans, and the like. Blacks don't live in high Asian places for a reason: San Fran, NYC, etc. This implies that the immigration either 1) does nothing for blacks or 2) harms blacks. In either case, there's no reason to support it.

Blacks don't live in NYC?

Stop it bro. NYC still has plenty of blacks. We can lose 10 percent of black people in the area and still have more than Chicago and LA put together.

NYC has fewer and fewer blacks every year. Many of the African Americans have already left NYC and the trend continues. So like I said, blacks leave areas with high immigration. I don't think there is an area in the country where there is high Asian population alongside blacks.

You could say that about most Major cities. Do these numbers factor in West Indians and Africans?

Actually, no. You can't say blacks are leaving most major cities unless they're beleaguered by gentrification and/or immigration (i.e. NYC, California, places near Mexico, etc). With the West Indians and Africans included, blacks are still net leaving NYC. Blacks obviously love places with the most money and/or blacks the most (i.e. Atlanta and the South). This is even where Asian people, for example, go. They go to the places with the most money and/or Asian people.

Blacks are still a major percentage of the city and that wont change for a while.

It's changing as we speak. Gentrification is an example of that change and things are only going to get worse. LA and California are another examples. The amount of blacks in California is almost at Canada levels. If you are pro-black and want what's best for black people, you oppose immigration. If you are a racist or otherwise put other things above black livelihood and welfare, you support it. Black succeed best in places like Atlanta, which hasn't been hit with immigration yet. Liberals like yourself think you can have your cake and eat it too. Life doesn't work like that. Sometimes there are unintended consequences and sacrifices that must be made. Nothing in life is free--not even freedom.

I don't know about Cali. In NY the black population stagnated in the city, but rose 4 percent in the suburbs in 2014. There's not that many jobs down south to sustain that much growth. With that being said it seems as if New York City is becoming less and less conducive to upward mobility.

At 10.4% of the metro's population in 2010, versus only 6.5% in 2000, the metro's Hispanic population increased 103.6%, or 278,459 people, in ten years.[5] Major Hispanic groups include 314,351 Mexicans, 43,337 Puerto Ricans, and 24,439 Salvadorans.http://factfinder2.census.gov/faces...iew.xhtml?pid=DEC_10_SF1_QTP10&prodType=table All of those groups' populations increased by over 90% in the ten-year period.

how do you find the time to post such dumb, uninformed shyt?

i feel really bad for your professors, do you know how irritating it is to grade papers with a lot of words that say absolutely nothing at best?

and why have you derailed this thread? the topic is about students on F status, a clear example of a NONIMMIGRANT visa

I go to a large state school and it is so fukking obvious they cheat. Like you talk to them and they are normal , don't understand the homework, but still so amazingly on every assignment. My grades dipped a bit this year as I learned more outside of school.

If anyone asks me about the dip, I'll admit it. There are too many cheaters to compete with added to the fact that I'm punished for learning anything not on an assignment. There are no "grades" in the real world only performance.

Your links don't conflict with the fact that blacks are leaving NYC. Blacks haven't "stagnated", they have declined since 2000.
