Half the U.S. refuses to even require masks and you think there's gonna be a unified effort to lock the entire country down?

Hell, let me break it down even further.

Kansas City, Missouri currently has a mask mandate. It's in Jackson County.

But because some of the smaller suburbs in Jackson County have different health departments, they don't have a mask mandate.

I say all that to say this....if a single state can't agree on masks....the type of shyt you're waiting on is never gonna happen.

The economic/political fall out would be too much. Mad businesses around where I live closed last time, they ain't doing it again. I dunno what you all hope/expect to happen during a lock down but I suggest you all get it done while you're waiting for it to happen.

I think they should just refuse hospital treatment unless you can show record of a vaccination. If they don't want to prevent covid fine, at least save all the medical treatment for those that did something about it. Let the anti vaxxers.covid denier, figure out their own solution.
