Hi, my name is Victoria, I'm 55 y/o. I had an extremely bad assault that happened to me on June, 19th at 12:40am. I'm an XL Uber driver in Las Vegas, Nevada. I've been driving for Uber for over a year. I've made 3,936 rides. I have excellent records. I was working hard, full time at night. That night at 12:30 am I received a request to pick up riders. There were 7 young (20 - 23 y/o) females getting into my Toyota Sienna without even asking if it's OK for 7 passengers to have a ride, I told them that I cannot give a ride to 7 people because it's against the law and Uber policies. They refused to step out of the car. The arguments were continuing for 5-7 min. I was opening automatic doors several times and they were closing them back. So, I realized that there was no other solution but to give them that ride and be done with this unpleasant situation. I took them to a point of destination and went they start exiting my car, the woman on the front passenger seat splashed a cup of soft drink in my face and they all start attacking me from all sides. One of them opened my driver's door and they all start beating me up with their fists in my face mostly, all over my head, neck, shoulders, and back. All I could do is try to protect my face. I was trying to keep my hands on my face and I prayed that they don't cut my eye or both eyes open and out. This was going on for a few minutes but it felt like an hour. Then they took my phone, and money from my tip jar and destroyed the wipe lever handle and the front passenger door was kicked so hard from the outside that when they finally shut the front passenger door, the door was destroyed. My face is unrecognizable now, all swollen, with a black eye and a lot of scratches, I can't breathe through my nose because it's all swollen, my ear and shoulder were blending, bruises on my head, arms, and back... Thank God, I had a camera in my car and everything is recorded! I filled out a police report as soon as I got home. I want to sue all of them for what they have done. My husband was also driving this car as an Uber driver, and now we're both out of work till the car is fixed... No income for both of us for at least 2 weeks...

as evidence goes, the video recording is the icing on the cake. they were all going to be caught once uber revealed to the police the personal information of the individual who ordered the ride. once one person is identified, they'll reveal the identity of everyone else involved.
