For most people this is their second job, and it comes from a place of desperation due to cost of living expenses spiraling out of control due to lack of regulation.

Yea. You can sit. Only a new person would accept that. Unless you travel to another city to Uber, nobody will accept that ride and it will continue to get declined all day.

Like for instance a ton of people travel from Baton Rouge to New Orleans to Uber. That’s a hour away, so if you catch this ride you want might to accept it, cause you heading closer to your house.

And you had to go that way anyway.

And that ride would equal out to $25 dollars per hour for you.

But if you live in New Orleans it’s literally no reason to accept that lol

Yea you can absolutely turn down them rides. Cause they obviously don’t make sense unless you was already heading that way.

A lot of rides like that just get constantly get declined and never picked up until you find someone who was heading that way.

You are legit stupid if you accept either of those rides/orders.

Regardless of the circumstances, I just wouldn’t take either of those fares based on principle alone. Even if I’m going in rest direction, it’s not worth having a stranger in my car for 50 bucks for an hour and a half. I Would never live that down

Anyways, yeah these kinds of jobs are predatory and are a prime example of why unregulated capitalism is bad. They take advantage of desperate people who have been left for dead by the system (on purpose because it's by design, capitalism needs a permanent underclass to work that's why it's trash).

That’s stupidly. If you trying to make money and a ride bringing you back to where you gonna end, you take that. If not you gonna be riding back on your own gas.

Plus that’s like 30 dollars a hour at hour and a half.

And usually the person tips big.
