Dude, after gas and mileage on your car (plus dead miles) it’s not even breaking even. Also, you’re not guaranteed that hourly rate EVERY hour

Few months ago, I took an Uber from a hotel in New Cairo to the Pyramids in Giza.

Ride was 26 miles and took 50 minutes.

Cost $5.96 including tip.
In Asia they have an app called Grab which is similar to Uber but the most frequent used app along with another called Bolt. They don't mess with Uber like that. In Africa the go to app is Bolt which gives you option if you want motorbike or sedan.

50km ride cost me total $12.90 including tolls from airport to destination. Tipped the driver $8 cause he had cell phone charger on deck.

Fat musty dude who has to be the smartest one in the room.
1. Your mother loves the way I smell

2. I’d imagine you’re probably the dumbest person in most rooms you enter, so being smarter than you is the equivalent of giving someone an award for breathing.

I’d be insecure too if had ur mush brain:pachaha:

So with DoorDash and Uber drivers, can they ever turn down deliveries or do they have to have a certain quota? I'm trying to understand why are the drivers upset? Like do they get paid per hour? Are they fighting with customers over tips?
you can turn down orders but the more frequently you do that, the lower your rating drops AND you receive less orders moving forward

I remember working as a driver and a lot of orders would be wayyy out of my way but I would kinda have to take them if I wanted to be on the platform

This is what y'all Uber drivers asked for. None of this is new. Drivers have been complaining about basically trading the equity of your car for some quick cash, cause after u pay your taxes and realize the added costs of wear and tear on your vehicle, u are basically a minimum wage servant whose job can be tossed in the bushes cause someone just didn't like you. Or u didn't provide candy :mjlol:

It's been like this since 2013, drivers burn out and get replaced by the next bunch of idiots.

I used to drive a taxicab. Not one of those old men playing cards at the airport, I worked the city at night. Would clear 1500 easily in a week working six 10 hr shifts, with p*ssy being thrown at me damn near every night. Had a roster of regular clientele, from airline pilots to strippers and drug dealers. Easiest money I ever made. Left right before Uber started in Florida, but I payed attention to this industry.

Be your own boss, work your own schedule is what the low level workers had been dreaming of their whole lives :russ::russ::russ:

People put their kids through college driving in the right tourist cities. I'm not the type to belittle someone for working, but if u a Uber driver your an economic idiot and this is exactly what u asked for.
Go head and suffer :camby:

just wait until the uber-robots come online :hhh:

"Recently, Serve Robotics announced that it will be delivering 2,000 delivery robots to Uber to trial out their capabilities, with a limited launch in the US. What options are available to engineers when developing an autonomous delivery system, what does Uber hope to achieve, and could such systems become practical in the future?"
