But I heard they dropped their fares lower then green can fares so I might entertain that regularly also.

I used the regular uberx cars here in NY and the rate was near extortion level.

its good to know with near 100% certainty that you'll have a car/cab and when it will be there. And i've found Uber drivers to be very friendly. I took like 4 Ubers when I went to DC a few weeks ago and it was worth whatever I spent on taking those cars

I think if the rates stay reasonable, more brother and sistas should fukk with it so that they don't have to deal with the indignity of cab drivers being on some other shyt and not stopping for them

Ironically as I'm reading this I'm like hmm...

Google been trying to do something like what they're suggesting Uber could become, more than a taxi service, where they deliver damn near anything you want right to your doorstep. It's called Google Express I believe.
