Nah pre-pandemic it was always a vibe. Airpods weren't for the broke (me back then) so you would meet some funny ass people, bad chicks, and people up to no fukking good. It died as a concept after the pandemic. It's still there, but for a long time UBERX was the secondary option while Shared was the primary. Today. the costs difference is negligible, which was the real reason that people went for it over UBERX.
