This was all public information though. I don't see how this is snitching.

This is the very definition of snitching. Instead of them taking their backlash in stride, they literally drug everyone else's name under the mud with them. While it may have been public info, it wasn't something that's been pushed out there in the media. Also Uber isn't recieving heat only for backing Trump, it's for being vulturistic and trying to undermine the Cab strike by removing their surge pricing this past weekend.
