They tried to get close. Project Ragtag was in development with Amy Hennig (lead writer if the first three Uncharted games), with Visceral developing. But then they killed Visceral and the game, and she left.

Makes sense. EA's yearly output is too low to let them sit on the license. Disney got five movies out during the exclusive run, and EA barely got four games out. That's not enough for Disney to cash in on the property.

4 games in 8+ years isn't bad, the issue is that Jedi Fallen Order was the only great AAA game. I would love Lucas Games have a great SW game every 3-5 years, unfortunately it looks like they gon flood us w/ a game every year
