it's just crazy to think about the average console gamer paying for internet access, gold/psn+, EA sub service, Ubi sub service, Activision sub service, Rockstar sub service, etc...

bingo. like i said...rearrange the letters and sony's message reads just about the same brehs. these consoles are more similar than they are different- sony is to blame more than ms....the reason ea, ubisoft, and activision are thinking about this is cause of ps now....yea, they get paid off their games through that service, but they gotta break sony off more than they'd probably have to if they had their own sub plans....and despite how people on here feel, ps now is probably doing better than yall think (just like home)....ea saw that and wanted in on it...
couple quick points:
- will people stop saying this has to do with gold/plus, it doesnt....devs get paid to offer their games free through gold/plus, so that aint what this is about....

- ms gets a lil blame cause they allowing ea to do this shyt....if they would've told ea no, ea would've just been short...but ms has partnered up with ea so far this gen, so they said 'cool'....that and probably they think this is some kinda answer to ps now for right now....
- ea coming off like fat cats....they've cut down the middle man's cut (ps now/whatever ms comes with), while increasing the middle man's work load (using ms's systems, customer service, servers, etc.) to push their shyt...
microsoft already has games with gold... service existed since june. Sony just cares about profit from PS+ being damaged that's all.

you're incorrect....this has nothing to do with ps+....devs get paid to give games away through plus/gold....plus/gold will be fine and operate the same as now, and still give games away free....
this has to do with sony's other service ps now, which is completely separate from ps+...the 2 have nothing to do with each other....anyway, ps now is the rental streaming service sony has introduced and is the service that ea, ubisoft, activision, etc are copying...they are trying to get more of the money by creating their own services and having gamers buy their sub plans....instead of getting whatever cut they get from sony by allowing their games to be on ps now/whatever ms comes with....
this is nothing like ps now, these are digital games ala games with gold/ps+ not streamed games.
This is nothing like PS now, PS now u rent individual games, ea access u pay for a subscription and get games wit the subscription and other perks like xbl gold and ps÷re-read what i said, i didnt say the services were alike....i stated why sony turned them down: cause this affects ps now....sony has banked on ps now....if devs start their own sub plans, they might take their games from ps now, which affects sony's money cause that means less games available, so people might not use the service as much as they hope....
as for gold/plus: devs get paid to give their games away free, so gold/plus wont be affected by this....
also, i dont think yall really understand what plus is...
