Found out @sonnench to file appeal.

The appeal reportedly centers on the knee that was effectively the finish of the fight, which allegedly caused stiches in his nose.

Theres a big thread on it at sherdog. I would want to see Sonnen do another heel run and get his ass beat again but it'd be better if Silva faced an opponent that actually stood a chance (if there is one).

Knee looked legal to me. Dana even said it in the post fight press conference that they reviewed it & it looked good.
