As a Wrassling fan first, this felt like when both guys get over regardless of the winner. The loser doesnt actually lose anything in the fans eyes and in reality and the champ did what he does best but looks a bit more vulnerable than he did before.

Islam is amazing that the could stand toe to toe with Volk for the most part and then get those takedowns and control when he needed them. He never had a fight go 5 rounds so I was thinking hed get a little tired but Volk almost got him out of there in the 5th. A really great fight by the two best. If they ran it back I wouldn't be mad because it feels like nothing changed but Islam should make some defenses in his division first.
