It’s already fukking official
I do think it's going to be easy for Jon, considering the won easy from Daniel Cormier. And Stipe had somewhat difficulty with Daniel Cormier.

However, in a fight everything can happen. I wonder, have you have been on a canvas? It's usually the most inexperienced fighters who come off as ignorant and arrogant. In a fight you never underestimate your opponent, and even Jon knows this.

Is this dude serious?

@Ish Geber Jones was GOATed...BEFORE THIS FIGHT! He then wins this fight which adds to the GOAT legacy. Jones doesn't NEED to fight Stipe to become GOAT, he already was the GOAT.

He can for sure ADD to the legacy. But more is NOT neccesary.
Yawn. Before this fight against Ciril he was not, because he was only a light-heavyweight champ not a heavyweight champ. To be the baddest you need to be the heavyweight champ.

Do you understand the difference between heavyweight and light heavyweight?

Man wants me to have to fight mma to talk now :mjlol:

Jones is the GOAT and he’s won plenty when he doesn’t take his opponent serious so I’m not gonna look at Stipe as the measuring stick

Your response said it all, with your "12 year old memes".

Stipe has the most defenses as a heavyweight, that is why he is the most wanted on Jones his list. I have no idea why some people act like feeble minds. smh

Thats the funny thing then why are you backing up and giving Jones a chance to use his legs...i understand not wanting to get taken down but his path to being competitive was keeping at close range and throwing hands which is the one thing Jones isnt great at...he willingly gave up his only advantage...

That’s why I see this as a Cyril fukk up more than a real W for Jones. He had nothing for Jones at a distance, he was incredibly deferential and never tried to impose himself.

The craziest thing about how Gane lost wasn't how Jones got him down or got him into a terrible position or the way he choked him out, it was the fact that Gane had the exact same deer in the headlights look and body language he had 14 months ago against Ngannou. Zero people were expecting him to actually do anything against Jones on the ground, but he didn't even look like he'd learned anything from the way he lost over a year ago. Didn't even look like he had any idea how to defend himself down there, which should be an impossibility at the highest levels of the UFC.

Whatever he's doing with his camp, it either needs to change or he needs to leave.

At the very least he should have takedown 101 defense to clinch and sprawl I mean shyt. This was pathetic.

The Ben Askren of striking.
