Fight played out like I expected, after that Gaethje head kick loss Dustin lost a lot of hand speed in his next fight. At least he didn't get finished which is how it was looking early on

Props to Poirier for a great career, and for providing some entertaining fights/moments over the years

that might've been the scariest Max has ever looked.

I completely agree. Even scarier than “I’m the best boxer!” Max. And I think it’s because he’s fighting at a more natural weight fighting at 155. And have you noticed since moving up to 155 all the “pillow hands” jokes have stopped? He is hitting like a truck at this weight. Even his kicks seemed to have more thud to them. Would be interesting to see him vs Topuria again, but at 155 this time.
