:scust:The fuk is wrong with your reading, he lost to the lw champion x2 so obviously as long as RDJ got the belt cerrone is done at lw just like rashad and Franklin were in their respective weightclasses. He can't afford to take an L this early in his voyage at MW. He even said it himself according to the UFC he doesn't mean shyt :ufdup:you would have been better off calling me out on the ME can't tell if it was methodical/gunshy Rory rearing his ugly head or if it was the ghost of Lawler affecting his performance but gymkata surprised me with that performance esp his TDD.

Lawler is a more smarter/talented version of brown so that will be a perfect gauge to tell if WB has really gotten better

Cowboy doesn't and will never give a shyt about a belt. What the fukk is a gymkata?

He cares, having the belt gives a fighter a little more leverage when restructuring a contract something cerrone is in need of.

Gymkata was the name of an 80s martial arts flick, WB moves just like the him (when he lets his legs go)

No he doesn't. He said it during the RDA aftermath that he hates having long breaks and preparing because he overthinks things and gets anxious. He fights 80 times a year for a reason.

God damn Thompson looked good, he fought like a damn ghost, went in got his hits in and vanished without getting tagged.

Cerrone once again displayed his striking skills, looked very good, didn't get trapped on the ground.

Bosse O'Connell was crazy, these dudes had some fun just going to war :ohhh:

pretty good card, really entertaining:ehh:

Every fighter has a bad night...this was Rory's bad night.

He's 26...where was Wonderboy in 2009?

Rory will be back, and has a long career ahead of him.

His comments at the post fight presser contradicts all this. Dude has had how many fights under the zuffa banner now? If he became champ he'd be getting 40k in sponsorship money alone let alone what he could fetch for himself if he had a malki kawa has an agent but maybe there is a good chance he's that dense and not that ambitious which is why he finds himself where he is complaining

Thompson would destroy Matt Brown if they fought again and it wouldn't even be close. Even though Thompson extends his lead leg I don't think leg kicks would be very effective against him unless you have the speed of Cowboy he covers distance too well.
He's not worried about moving his feet unless you start attacking his leg

No leg kicks on a karate stance and
favoring rolls into leg locks over conventional TD attempts when you're the bigger man who's known for wrestling.

2 major flaws in RM'S game plan but regardless....the top the WW division is ripe for WB'S picking. Only top guy I see beating him is Condit....and GSP.

A career 55er who's orthodox dropping/stopping a great chinned fighter whose a career middleweight that rocked prime Tito at light heavy...and doing it with left hands :wow:....Cowboys a threat at 55 and 70. Who/where do yall wanna see him fight next?

Why is that so funny?(from a marketing standpoint)
How does that help to sell the fight over say I don't know a former ufc hw champion?

Ps imagine ufc signed jason David Frank who had an Oscar nomination for playing green power ranger, selling him as "Oscar nominee" isn't exactly going to draw ppl to the fight is it and that actually has some prestige

It might.

Ppl tend to find it interesting when someone from another field enters a ring. Isn't that at least partially why brock was so lucrative in the first place?

When paige gets dancing with the stars runner up on her intro :wow:

he was lucrative because he looked like a cac silverback and many cac around the world who don't follow sports (because the best look too black or too brown) live vicariously through him

When paige gets dancing with the stars runner up on her intro :wow:
dangerous territory we are entering but it wouldn't surprise me

The whole Point of getting Lesnar for 200 was to get some of the casual fans or people who have hardly ever watched UFC before that they lost from pulling McGregor. This is their biggest card ever and the UFC is more popular than ever. I'm willing to bet there's casual fans and wrestling fans that just started watching in the last few years that don't even know Lesnar fought before.

'WWE Superstar' has absolutely nothing to do with MMA. Brock was a former UFC HW champion. It would make a lot more sense if he was introduced as such.

I have a feeling this was done as a stipulation for letting Brock fight in the UFC by the WWE.
