They know their craft but in the ring/octagon, you're gonna get punched in the face. How do they deal with that? Professional fighters have dealt with as they fought going through the amateur ranks. Also if they really fought Perry would take him down and grapple if he couldn't outstrike him.

Problem here is you're assuming a life long martial artist only knows how to strike.

What they also seem to forget is that MMA/UFC is actually watered down. Jack of all trades, master of none. UFC dudes would get beat in every discipline besides MMA/UFC. So if they strictly went against masters of boxing, bjj, muay thai, etc. they would lose easily

being a pro fighter is levels above being a life long martial artist without high level competition.

If MJW had a history of washing nikkas up in amateur tournaments and had an actual record i would have no issue with people saying he would whoop perry.

But he doesnt. Hes a life long practitioner but his training hasnt been tested by the likes of a pro fighter
