Are you kidding me? The man was breaking up drug markets down the street from his safehouses. Logic would tell you that hes supposedly a high ranking triad member but hes going to corner and disrupting their business. Then, they all get arrested afterwards. And the happens at least 30 times. Not to mention it was way too many plotholes in the story. It was so obvious he was undercover. The only truly good thing was the fighting mechanics and even that got repetitive because you faced the same 3 enemies throughout the entire game. Terrible driving mechanics that felt like tires had ice skates. Wonky shooting. Characters were not interesting. Wade, wade, Wade, WAde, WADE>>>>>then everyone in SD. This game is very overrated

you look like you could use a pork bun :usure:

You say its obvious he was undercover, but don't give any reasons why, the camera missions are side missions and have nothing to do with the story, you don't even have to do any

Winston and Dog Eyes were better characters, and Wei Shen was better of the other main charaters, there's nothing wrong with the driving unless you say its too easy, I liked the fact you could actually RAM other cars, it felt odd not being able to do in GTAV. The shooting in Sleeping Dogs is way better and so are the scenarios when guns are involved. The combat system at least it had one, GTA has no combat system, the shyt is laughable

Wade are you serious, fukking wade, get the fukk outta here, jackie ma was better than non npcs, and he actually had a character arc and over went change

The driving mechanics in SD is better than any other game in the same genre. I fukkin loved Sleeping Dogs though.

Lol at the sleeping dogs hate, from a pure gameplay and mechanics perspective sleeping dogs > GTAV.
Driving, shooting, fighting. GTAV has better production values and more life like world but on just gameplay sleeping dogs wins.
I'm looking forward to this I hope it's next gen bc sleeping dogs on consoles looked like dog crap.

Just as the studio said it would, Sleeping Dogs developer United Front Games has revealed its next game. Triad Wars is a online open-world action-adventure game for PC set in Hong Kong.

In the game, due out in 2015 (sign up for the beta here), your goal is to "rise to power as a criminal kingpin of the Triad underworld." To do this, you'll need money, and you'll get that by establishing your turf with "lucrative, albeit questionable operations" through which you'll gain stacks of (dirty) money you can use to arm yourself against rival gangs.

Money alone won't be your saving grace in Triad Wars, however, as players will also take on shooting, driving, and melee missions. "In Hong Kong, the action never stops and your rivals aren't going down until you put them there," Triad Wars community manager James Baldwin writes on the game's website.

Overall, United Front Games stresses that you'll be able to play Triad Wars the way you want to.

"Whether you choose to excel in extortion, hacking, money laundering, stolen cars, or even just good ol' fashioned violence is strictly situational and will be representational of your playstyle. It's your city to claim, and how you do it is entirely up to you," Baldwin says.

United Front Games also expects that Triad Wars will grow and evolve over time, based on player feedback. In the video above, a developer says, "This thing's a living, breathing thing. It's just going to keep evolving. I'm excited to figure out what it's going to be in two years. It could be a completely different game, and that's really exciting."

it seems they want to make a very 'open' game that will change based on player feedback. that kind of thing is hard to market on consoles. plus there's issues with how such a thing can pass through the 'quality assurance' required by the consoles. maybe eventually when it's more 'stable', it will come to consoles
