I've been in settings where I had to speak to women for a task, at school not to hit on them and they've refused to speak to me.

My first day of college we have orientation and the instructor asks us to greet the person to our left and our right.

I had a corner seat and there was only someone to my right. The woman to my right refused to turn around and say hello to me.

Had women laugh in my face.

Tell me I'm ugly.

Stop talking to me once I sent them a picture of my face.

I had a retail job which taught me a lot about sales and talking to people.

We're having a meeting and our boss ask how I am as a worker.

My female co-worker says
"Oh he's so great with the customers. He knows how to talk to them and make them comfortable and buy more items. It's obvious it's not how he looks so he's a good talker"

I was the guy that if a group of girls walked by, to tease one of them they would say "look there's your boyfriend" because of how ugly I am.

Dudes in HS would always say some girl liked me but I knew that was impossible because I was ugly and never took the bait

There are several discussions to be had on the phenomenon where people - in the main, women - who would rather feel like they belong to any group, however unhealthy or toxic, so they can get some attention in their lives and stave off their boredom for just another day...instead of simply doing the work needed to engage and succeed with the opposite gender.
