Also, for what it's worth... There's plenty of stories you hear from women that have them saying that originally they didn't find their boyfriend or husband attractive, but then personality traits made him look a lot better in their eyes. 
Whether you believe them or not is another story, but it does seem to be a thing.
I wouldn't use this as an excuse to not better yourself, but you never know what somebody could go for. I'm willing to bet though that the men in question would have mostly been doing their own thing and it just blossomed from there.

Obsessing over shyt you can't control as a man as to why hoes don't like you is some weak school shooter cac shyt. 
Glow up to the best of your ability no matter who you are and women will notice. Be like Biggie and go from ashy to classy. No one could deny that boy had finesse. 
When I was drinking like a fish, eating unhealthy and not taking care of myself, the only women really checking for me like that were older Cougars at the bar trying to fix me. I was making myself ugly because I didn't realize how much I really hated myself because I was treating myself like shyt through my horrible living habits. I cut out all drinking and drugs years ago and have cut down on unhealthy habits like drinking too much regular sugary soda. As a a result I'm in great shape. Folks underestimate how much being in shape is determined by things like diet and living habits. Went from a bad skinny fat 200 lbs with hammock arms, round face, man boobs and a gut to a slim 170. I've glowed up just because of that. bytches be looking like 
everyday now. Yeah, I'm over 6' and got swag, still got a full head of hair and look much younger than my age too which also helps. But I see brehs who are shorter and less swaggy than me with bad bytches all the time. But my main priority in life now is to continue in the path of self improvement for myself and I'm not pressed over specifically impressing hoes at the same time.
