Jameis's speaking will be fine. He has a southern accent, but that isn't indicative of intelligence, or lack thereof in any sense. He had over a 4.0 GPA in high school and got into Stanford.

His issue is enunciation and high usage of informal communication but that can change with classes and toastmasters. As far as clarity, he is easier to understand than Tim Tebow at Florida due to the clarity in his voice and he is quite entertaining.
