That's a little overboard. I don't think the kid is a moron, he graduated with a 4.0 and scored pretty high on the SAT, apparently he wants to be a Podiatrist, and quite a few coaches have called him very intelligent, almost genius.

I think his grammar (and accent/pronunciation) just sucks. Maybe he's more of a mathematician, half the SAT is math and memory anyways. Just lends credence to the idea that he's only there because of a ball and doesn't have the intellectual fortitude to match up to his peers, a common stereotype for black people who attend white institutions. I don't know many people who would; but many are willing to give Jameis a pass because he can through a football like he doesn't need regular life skills. Would you like your children to speak like him, since, according to you, there's nothing wrong with it and it's just an accent?

he's had training. when he was playing and didn't have time to learn how to articulate a point in front of a microphone he was awful. he's a professional now, he should be able to enunciate and speak in a fluid manner.
