Add a zero to that and I've heard its twice that amount. :usure:

well don't take my word for it:

U.S. companies that have already carried outinversions are likely to cost the government a record $2.2 billion or more in lost tax revenuenext year, double the amount in 2014, according to calculations based on companies’ financial results.

That doesn’t include the impact of companies that shift their legal addresses abroad in the future, which one Congressional study pegged at about $2 billion a year over the next decade. Since the first inversion in 1982, the deals have cost more than $9.8 billion in inflation-adjusted dollars, the calculations based on data compiled by Bloomberg show.

Of course they are, they also make tha most revenue in tha US

wut wuz tha point of your post?

nope. exxon, chevron, and wal mart all make more in revenues. berkshire hathaway is tied with them. if you want to go by profit (which is what you pay taxes on) exxon still would beat them.

my point "wuz" that you're bytching about apple avoiding taxes when there are worse companies out there.

Oh ok thanks for that fact, it's still irrelevant to the point I was trying to make

at the end of the day you, me and every company has the right to pay as little taxes as possible. direct your anger at the idiots in congress who writes these stupid tax laws in the first place.
tha common person duznt have tha luxury of accounting overseas

those companies and congress are in it together, I'm taking my anger out on both of them

it's simply greed, nothing more nothing less

now quit being a smart ass and go do something productive, take your freind with you

Make business in America less attractive, for no gain :ehh:Seems legit.
Google wouldnt exist without America and cant operate without a base in America.

I think corporate taxes are too high, but I dont think the appropriate response to that is to hide income.

Ok, lets be clear...
Are you saying that companies with "economic activity" overseas, pay no taxes what so ever? :leostare:
Cause I'm saying that they do, and what they pay is enough IMO...
