@Mr Clean I think it’s a general mainland European thing as in England our mayo isn’t even that good. I don’t know if you went to the same one in Amsterdam, but the most famous is Vlaams Friteshuis Vleminckx

It was the best frites and mayo I had in Dam, and I’ve been there for years and had so many mayo options (obviously not my hand)

If you have a polish or Asian food store near you, try the following. I randomly bought a Polish bottle years ago and it’s probably my favourite along side Japanese mayo
