The UK is a pathetic country at this point. It is basically a vassal state of the US.

The EU countries also behave like US vassals, but there is still the opportunity for them to get their act together and become an independent power. The UK seems like a country in a total free fall.

The EU is phucked and probably has been for quite a while maybe even a long while. If the 2 Powers in Germany and France are struggling what's the rest of the union looking like? And they all seem to have similar issues to what the UK has. If it doesn't pick up economically in the next couple of years how long before countries start piping up about dropping the single currency and going back to their old money?

100k people marching with Tommy Robinson today.

Time for an exit plan.

These Euro based countries are leaning heavy on right wing lies to explain why rich people are screwing over the gen pop, and like America, all that will be left when folks see the light will be fascism against their own people.

Wonder what they do/say then, when the immigrants are gone but life is still hell?

How long does Starmer have? He’s got 400 MPs. How many are loyal?

And this sounds delusional

As you know, a lot can change in a few months.

If starmer can hold on and things change economically he will be fine, but we can only judge now and right now, the immigrant situation is being totally blown out of proportion and no one is pushing back, because it's easy to pretend that's the correct answer.

No one wants to face the truth, but you see the same thing in America.

I’m like :mindblown: why doesn’t he go on the road and use the mega phone bully pulpit? This sounds just like Biden and then Dems.

Smh he’s being giving golden opportunities

I laughed back then, but Jeremy Corbyn was probably the last politician who wanted to to well by the people of Britain and he was pilloried by the media, and undermined by Labour until he lost all credibility.

Look at us now.

Look at us now.

Andy Burnham talks some good talk and he's been a half decent mayor apparently but I don't think he's enough to sway the disaffected back to Labour.

Corbyn was the chance and Labour did back flips to sabotage itself.

Polanski talks a good game too but being real he's not going to do anything of substance with the Greens. It feels like the Nick Clegg hype but it's not even happening close to an election.

If Labour don't put their full weight behind a believable people's champion ASAP we're heading down a really dark fukking path.
