I wish Biden and Dems were polling 15-20 points ahead of the Trump Republicans
Interesting questions. I've been trying to think of what they were like the last time they were in Opposition, maybe I was too young but I don't recall them doing anything noteworthy. With the ruling party having a majority there isn't that much they could do. It was during that time that David Cameron's A-list scheme brought in some people who are now MPs.
Then again, things are different now. They may well lean more into the culture wars, in an attempt to bring back people who will have voted for Reform. And the way political parties in Europe are going, who knows how far they'll go?
