Jenrick was a flyweight in a party of straw-weights Zahawi is just an incredibly unlikeable, money-grubbing grifter - I can't see either being a massive plus to Reform but then I have been wrong about how the voting public see things pretty reliably since 2016.

Does Britain even make Statesmen anymore? They're all just variously faded echoes of politicians that once mattered.

Technically the last one was Cameron.

The local elections are in May and they're going to be terrible for Labour.
