This is EXACTLY what it is. I hate it that it's somehow become a "feminist" issue when it's women doing this to girls.

Either way, good move by the UK, other countries should do the same. Thing is, how will they know? It's one thing that a girl speaks up about it, but what about those who won't?

On the other hand, no it's not like male circumcision breh. Both are indeed a mutilation (I agree with you on that part) but FGM is much more invasive and its effects are much worse, from what I've read about it.

I meant the "feminism" that implies that everything bad happening to women/girls is men's fault. In most African lands in which this happens it is only women who decide when and how young girls are mutilated. Feminists are about empowerment, this is the best issue in which women could decide themselves to stop hurting girls. Either that, or (as feminists who have not fallen into the "women are good, men are bad" dystopia) women also are the problem. But most "feminists" would never say that, they'd spin it by implying that anything bad a women does is, somehow, someway, a man's fault.

A good chunk western feminists, especially the vocal SJW branch, are also ultra-PC leftists.
